2 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup shredded coconut
¼ cup coarsely chopped almonds
½ cup sesame seeds
½ cup shelled sunflower seeds
½ cup unsweetened wheat germ
½ cup honey
½ cup cooking oil
½ cup dried apricots
½ cup raisons
In large bowl combine all the dried ingredients except for the fruit. Combine honey and oil and stir into oat mixture. Spread mix onto a large baking sheet 13x9x2. Bake at 300° for 45-50 minutes until light golden brown. Stir every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir in dried fruit. Stir occasionally to prevent lumping. Store in air tight container. Makes 6 ½ cups.
