Do you ever feel like you are in chaos or unhappiness and you think you will never feel truly happy? Then reading and studying this book will give you a point of view of Jesus that you may never have thought of before. Jesus spent 1,000 days or 3 years on this earth, teaching truths that are as relevant today as they were then.
Jonathan Falwell gives the reader the concept of “the happiness of less.” It is one of the key ways to gain true happiness. Come and meet Jesus, a man who did everything with purpose.
Author- Jonathan Falwell is married, has four children, and lives in Virginia. He is the senior pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church, writes a weekly column, and has his photographs appearing in magazines.
My Thoughts- This book was great. I actually fell in love with the book in the first couple of chapters and it made me want to keep reading and never put the book down.
One of my favorite parts of this book was on pages 153-55, when it talked about how Jesus prayed for his disciples and he did it for us as well. It was overwhelming and awe inspiring to think that Jesus prayed for me even though I hadn’t been born. He prayed that I would have protection, unity, would have joy, and not be lost. It is something I need to remember every day so I can be closer to Jesus and God.
I would highly recommend this book. It would work well as an individual study or a group study. Each person should own this book and so should church libraries.
